Jane’s Walk weekend a success, photo documentary on Trail Swag

Last month, The Peterborough Field Naturalists participated in Jane’s Walk — the international event to commemorate Jane Jacobs and her philosophies, and to celebrate walkable cities made for and by the people.

The PFN organized and hosted two walks— Suburban Connections, and the Wild Side of Town. Between 30 and 40 people attended each walk, and we were blessed with great weather.

During our Sunday morning walk at Mark S Burnham PP, Evan Holt of Trail Swag — an Ontario Outdoors Blog— joined the walk with his friend Jen to photo document the event. They took some beautiful shots and did a great job summarizing the morning on their blog post.

Trail Swag is a pretty cool place to go for more info about Ontario trails and special outdoor places. A big thanks to Evan and Jen for helping to promote the club event and the beautiful Mark S. Burnham Provincial Park.
