Come along to the Environment Centre for a morning workshop to find out about the most diverse group of animals on the planet: beetles (Coleoptera). After an overview introduction we will get outside to investigate various methods for sampling the local beetle fauna and learn some tips on how to identify the main families. You will also learn how to distinguish beetles from other insects.

Microscopes and hand lenses will be available to observe our finds. Come prepared for the weather!
