Join us for a full day of activities on the Stoney Lake Trails. The trails run through the Kawartha Land Trust properties on the north shore of Stoney Lake. The trails were developed by Ralph Ingleton and extend onto other properties including the Viamede Resort. A number of events are planned ranging from early morning birding, floral investigations, a general nature ramble, and an afternoon butterfly session led by a variety of experts from the Peterborough Field Naturalists. The day’s events will end with a social hour commencing at 4 p.m. at the Boathouse Restaurant of Viamede Resort. Full details to follow here, and in the next issue of ‘The Orchid’.
Accessability: easy to moderate.
