Basil Conlin is a member of the Peterborough Field Naturalists and is very passionate about moths.  He has previously written on this subject in The Orchid.
This year Basil embarked on a personal project to document moths living within the city of Peterborough. To date he has identified 560 species!  He will present his findings, and discuss moth diversity and moth conservation specific to Peterborough.

Also, Trent University student, Vanessa Potvin, will be updating the membership on her natural areas strategy project and sharing future activities associated with this exciting project.
