Jackson Park (Pagoda Bridge)
Kids will love this chance to listen for bats using ultrasonic bat detectors. PFN member and bat expert Lesley Hale will teach us about Ontario’s species of bats and cool facts about their habitat, roosts, food, flight and echolocation. We’ll also learn about white nose syndrome, which is causing major declines in Ontario’s bat populations.
Start time: 7:45 pm
Meet at the Pagoda bridge by the pond (parking is available at the driveway near the Fairbairn/Parkhill intersection).

Rain date will be Tuesday, August 15.
