What’s Happening?

Last spring Appeals were made by three parties (No Casino Peterborough, AON Inc., Downtown Business Improvement Area) to the Ontario Municipal Board (OMB) requesting a review of Peterborough City Council’s decision to rezone land that would ultimately allow a casino/hotel/restaurant complex to be developed on Crawford Drive. In response to this, a prehearing date has been scheduled for:

at 10 a.m.

Peterborough City Hall Council Chambers

Anyone wishing to make a statement regarding the impact of the rezoning on the natural heritage of the Harper Park wetland, trout creek and naturally protected area, must attend this pre-hearing. Statements will be made at a later date, but attendance at the pre-hearing is required to enable your participation at the full OMB Hearing.
