PFN Meeting: Holey Leaves: Gardening for Caterpillars and Other Insects

2021-05-13 @ 7:30 PM 8:30 PM

Basil Conlin is a lifelong naturalist based in
Peterborough and Haliburton, and a member of the
Peterborough Field Naturalists. An avid “moth-er” for
many years, Basil began native plant gardening four
years ago when he realised the incredible importance of
native plants to insects and other pollinators. In this
talk, he will share his successes and failures gardening
with native plants, what plants are best for attracting
insects, and what insects you can expect to find on your plants in the Peterborough area.
