About Us

To Know, Appreciate, and Conserve Nature in All its Forms

The Peterborough Field Naturalists (PFN) is a registered charity and active club in Peterborough, Ontario, Canada. The PFN has a history dating back to 1940.

For current news and events in Peterborough’s naturalist community, feel free to download our monthly newsletter, The Orchid. If you are already a member, we hope you are enjoying our newsletter in the mail. If you are not a member yet, we invite you to fill out the membership form on the last page of the newsletter and come to our next meeting.

We meet at 7:30pm the second Wednesday of the month Sept-June at the Camp Kawartha Environment Centre 2505 Pioneer Road, near Trent University. We also offer Zoom meeting link access for registered members.

Light refreshments are provided for a donation and please lug-a-mug to help us reduce use of disposable cups.
