Fascinating Fungi – Members only
2021-10-24 @ 10:30 AM – 12:00 PM
Fungi comes is an incredible variety of different sizes, shapes and colours. One of the best places to find them, is in an old growth forest and Mark S. Burnham Provincial Park is no exception. Rachel Baehr, a graduate of the Fleming College Conservation Biology program, and Sue Paradisis will lead this mid morning walk. Hopefully this late in October we will still be able to find some good specimens. Regardless, a walk through this beautiful forest will be time well spent. We will also consider some of the features of the Park that show that it is in fact an old growth forest. Bring your binoculars, camera and dress for the weather of the day. All participants are encouraged to bring masks and abide by social distancing guidelines.
Members wishing to participate should register with Sue Paradisis at [email protected] and more details will be provided.
