Pigeon Lake is very popular with migrating waterfowl so, naturally, birders visit as well. This outing will be to look for some of the migrants stopping at key viewing areas such as Sandy Point boat launch, Blind Channel, Kerry Line and Boundary Road. A variety of waterfowl including loons, ducks, and possibly White-winged Scoters and Long-tailed Ducks could be seen. Carpooling will be encouraged and the meeting place sent to those signing up for the outing. It may be cool with winds off the water, so dress for the weather.
