Sounds of Spring
April 20 @ 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM
The evening air of spring carries the mating songs of various species of frogs and the sky dance of the American Woodcock (a.k.a. Timber-doodle). On this two-hour evening walk, we will distinguish between the different species of calling frogs and listen to the courtship flights of the American Woodcock and Wilson’s Snipe in the provincially significant Cavan Swamp wetland. Contact Sue after March 4 at [email protected] or 705-559-2061 to register and for further information.
