Sounds of Spring – Members Only
April 15 @ 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM
The dusk air of the spring carries the mating songs
of various species of frogs and the sky dance of the
American Woodcock or Timber-doodle. Join Sue
Paradisis and Rachel Baehr for a 2-hour outing to distinguish between the different species of calling frogs and listen to the courtship flights of the American Woodcock and Wilson’s Snipe in the provincially significant Cavan Swamp wetland. Contact Sue after March 4 at [email protected] or 705-559-2061 to register and for further information.
Accessibility: Easy, walking along a closed roadway.
